Description
The plastic Sterilization Cassette 255x160x40 mm is a lightweight autoclavable alternative to stainless, with a deeper 40 mm capacity.
01Product Overview
The Sterilization Cassette, plastic, 255x160x40 mm, is an autoclavable alternative to the stainless range. Two differences are relevant when choosing between them. Plastic is considerably lighter, which matters where cassettes are carried between rooms, loaded into an autoclave repeatedly through the day, or handled by staff for whom repeated lifting of stainless containers is a consideration. Plastic is also quieter in use, which is not a trivial point in a treatment area shared with conscious patients.
Against that, plastic will not tolerate the same indefinite service life as stainless. The 40 mm depth accommodates bulkier instruments or two layers. Perforations allow cleaning solution and steam to reach all surfaces as with the stainless pattern.
