01Product Overview
The Sterilization Cassette, 180x160x40 mm, is a perforated stainless container that holds a set of instruments through cleaning, sterilisation and storage. Working from a cassette changes how instruments are processed. Rather than being handled individually after use, a soiled set is closed into the cassette and passes through ultrasonic cleaning and autoclaving as a unit, which markedly reduces the number of times staff handle contaminated sharp instruments.
The perforations allow cleaning solution and steam to reach every surface. At 40 mm this is the deeper of the compact sizes, accommodating instruments with bulkier handles or a set stacked in two layers. Instruments are retained in a fixed order, so a missing item is immediately apparent.
