HK Medical Instruments 17 cm Left-Hand Straight Mayo Scissor is built so left-handed veterinarian can work with the same direct cutting line and blade visibility that right-handed veterinarian expect from a standard straight Mayo. The mirrored construction keeps the rings comfortable and the tips visible when held in the left hand.

The 17 cm (6-3/4 inch) straight blunt/blunt pattern is well suited to sutures, fascia and firm tissue in routine veterinary procedures. As with all left-handed instruments, mark and store it separately from right-handed stock to keep surgical packs consistent.

How do I identify this as a left-handed scissor??

When held with the tips up, a left-handed scissor has its top blade and ring positioned for the left hand. Suppliers also label left-handed instruments to prevent substitution.
