How is the curved 14.5 cm TC Gold model different from the straight version?

Both share the same length, blunt/blunt tips and carbide edges. The curved blade follows tissue contours and can improve visibility, while the straight blade gives a direct linear cut.

Is this scissor suitable for cutting sutures?

It can cut suitable suture material, but many clinics keep a dedicated straight scissor for sutures and reserve curved tissue scissors for dissection to protect each cutting edge.
