Description
The Feline Surgical Bone Curette, has a small sharp cup for debriding an extraction socket back to healthy bone in the cat mouth.
01Product Overview
The Feline Surgical Bone Curette, is a small sharp cupped instrument for debriding an extraction socket. This step is frequently the one that determines whether a site heals cleanly. After a tooth is removed the socket may retain granulation tissue, fragments of periodontal ligament or diseased bone, and leaving that material in place invites delayed healing or infection.
The curette scrapes the socket walls back to healthy bleeding bone. The cup is sized for a feline socket, which a curette intended for canine or orthopedic use cannot enter without damaging the alveolar walls. It is an essential instrument wherever feline extractions are performed, particularly in resorptive lesion cases.
