The HK Medical Instruments Winged Elevator Set provides five graduated working widths for controlled veterinary tooth elevation. Winged blade edges can help maintain purchase at the tooth and alveolar interface while the veterinarian advances carefully around the root to release periodontal ligament fibers.
The standard set includes 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, and 5 mm winged elevators. The range allows veterinary dental doctors to select a size suited to the tooth, patient and available periodontal space. Use a controlled technique with a protected fulcrum, and do not use adjacent teeth as leverage. For surgical instrument packs, customization is available at HK Medical Instruments.
