Description
The Lister Bandage Scissor 14 cm / 5-1/2" is the standard size bandage scissor, with a longer blade for cutting through heavier multi-layer dressings.
01Product Overview
The Lister Bandage Scissor, 14 cm / 5-1/2" is the standard size and the more capable of the two. The longer blade produces a greater cutting stroke per closure, which matters considerably when working through a thick bandage. A heavily padded limb dressing or a cast liner may involve many layers, and cutting those with a short blade requires repeated small closures that are slow and tend to bunch the material.
The 14 cm blade divides more of the thickness in each stroke. The blunt flattened probe tip and angled blade geometry are unchanged, so the instrument still passes safely between dressing and skin. This is the appropriate size for dogs, heavier dressings and splint removal.
