The Snook Castration Hook, 20 cm with a flat 4 mm shaft is used to locate and exteriorise the uterine horn through a small abdominal incision. The hook is introduced along the body wall and drawn back to engage the broad ligament, bringing the horn to the incision without the surgeon needing to enlarge the approach or handle abdominal contents directly.
